Freeze Warning In Effect For Bergen County: See When

Parents in Bergen County may be saying "Put on a coat!" this week. See the timing of the expected freeze and high winds.

NORTH JERSEY — The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for eastern Bergen County.

From 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday, temperatures may dip between 30 and 32 degrees, they said.

While the area is not expecting more than a foot of snow like Chicago was this week, the NWS noted, "Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation."
