Home Burglarized, $45K Reported Stolen In Bergen County: Police

A Glen Rock resident returned home from vacation to find their home burglarized, and cash and multiple items of value stolen, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A Glen Rock resident returned home from vacation last week to find their home burglarized, and $45,000 in cash and several items of value stolen, borough police Chief Dean Ackermann said.

The resident, who lives on Cranford Road, reported that the intruder(s) appeared to have forced entry through a rear window, and stole the large sum of money, multiple designer handbags, jewelry and NETGEAR security cameras, Ackermann said.

A full inventory of property stolen is pending from the resident, who had last been home late afternoon on Nov. 7 and returned on Nov. 12, police said.
