The Ridgewood Public School district will honor 10 teachers as educator of the year at their respective schools on May 7. Here are the winners: <ul> <li>Educational Services Professional: Lorraine Zak (Ridge &amp; Willard Schools)</li> <li>Hawes School: David Jenkins</li> <li>Orchard School: Sawyer Austin</li> <li>Ridge School: Lynne Peabody</li> <li>Somerville School: Susan Foreman</li> <li>Travell School: Darien Dastis Buckler</li> <li>Willard School: Linda Diorio</li> <li>BFMS: Erin Corcoran</li> <li>GWMS: Lauren Sacks</li> <li>RHS: Michael Yannone</li> </ul> The award recipients will be receiving a stipdend of $500, half paid by the HSAs and the rest by the school board. The recognition award ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Education Center for recipients, families, educators, parents and friends.
