Learn To Bike Safely In Class To Be Held This Fall In Ridgewood
If your child wants to learn to ride a bike without training wheels, sign them up for a class or course this fall in Ridgewood.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — If your child wants to learn to ride a bike without training wheels, register them for the Learn to Ride class or Safe Bike Skills course on Oct. 15 in Ridgewood, an event flyer said.
Emphasizing a "balance first" approach, instructors will teach Learn to Ride kids ages 5 and up to sit on a pedal-less bike, and will add pedals later, when they are ready.
Children in grades 3 through 11 will learn signaling, scanning, and turning; and practice drills with a "fun and safe course," the flyer said.
