LGBT Pride Flag To Be Raised In Glen Rock
The flag raising will be part of Glen Rock Pride in the Park June 1. June is LGBT Pride Month.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — An LGBT pride flag will be raised as part of the Glen Rock Pride in the Park celebration June 1.
The third annual flag raising and celebration at Wilde Memorial Park will help kick off LGBT Pride Month.
New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal and student representatives from the Glen Rock High School Alliance will speak at the ceremony. Mayor Bruce Packer will serve as the ceremony's emcee.

"This is an opportunity where community leaders, families, and friends can all come together to celebrate pride," said Holly Goshin, the event's organizer.
There will be music, children's poetry, poetry readings, and an art gallery.

The flag raising will be from noon to 1 p.m. The pride in the park celebration will be from 1 to 3 p.m.
