Man Sexually Assaulted Bergen County Teen 'On Multiple Occasions': Prosecutor

A New Milford man, 31, has been arrested for sexually assaulting a teen multiple times, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A New Milford man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a child "on multiple occasions," prosecutors said.

Shaboo O. Williams, 31 of New Milford has been charged with second-degree sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal sexual contact, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday.

Prosecutors say that last Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit was contacted regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that had occurred in the past.

An investigation determined that Williams sexually assaulted the victim on different occasions when the child was between the ages of 13 and 18, in New Milford.

He was arrested in New Milford, NJ and taken to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
