Man Causes $1,800 In Damage When He Slams Bar Door In Hoboken: Police
A man was arrested after he slammed a bar door in Hoboken, causing $1,800 in damage, police said.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A man was arrested after he slammed a bar door in Hoboken, causing $1,800 in damage, police said.
Police said that on Jan. 11, just after 7 p.m., Officers Remy Garcia-Marte and Kyle Seper responded to Metropolis, 96 River St., on reports of a fight.
Police said that an on-scene investigation determined that Sebastian Merinovallejo, 30, of Hillside, got into an argument inside the bar.

While being escorted out by security, Merinovallejo slammed the front door — causing the door to hit a glass window, breaking it and causingapproximately $1,800 in damage, police said.
Merinovallejo was taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on criminal mischief charges, police said. He was released with a summons.
