Counterfeit Cash Used At 3 Glen Rock Businesses, Police Say
Police in one Bergen County town say that 3 men used counterfeit $100 bills at 3 businesses, including for Italian ices.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Three men tried to use counterfeit $100 bills at several businesses in Glen Rock last week — including for Italian ices, police say.
Police said that last Tuesday, they responded around 10 p.m. to a CVS to take a theft report. Employees told them that a man entered the store and bought $500 in gift cards with counterfeit $100 bills. The Detective Bureau began reviewing surveillance footage to try to identify the man.
Then, this past Sunday, the police got two more reports of bogus Benjamins — this time, with three men involved, they say.
