Motorcyclist From Hudson County Killed In Crash Outside Lodi Wawa: Prosecutor

LODI NJ — A 37-year-old Hudson County man died in a motorcycle crash in Bergen County last weekend, prosecutors said.

Gyancarlo Cabrera, 37, of North Bergen was riding his motorcycle near the Wawa convenience store Saturday afternoon when he collided with a Tesla, prosecutors said Wednesday. Cabrera was ejected from the bike, a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle.

Cabrera was taken to the hospital shortly after 3 p.m. but was pronounced dead soon after, prosecutors said.

"This crash did not involve any suspected criminality," prosecutors said Wednesday, "and no charges are anticipated to be filed as a result of this tragic accident."

A service will be held for Cabrera next week, according to his obituary.
