Nanny Stole $2K In Electronics From Glen Rock Home: Police

Sarah Zughbi, 28, stole electronics from the home, police said; she is also a suspect in the theft of $18.5K in jewelry from there.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A nanny was accused of stealing $2,000 in electronics from a Glen Rock home she worked at and is a suspect in the theft of $18,500 worth of jewelry from the home, police announced Monday.

Sarah Zughbi, 28, of Garfield was charged with theft and receiving stolen property, said Chief Dean Ackermann.

Zughbi had been hired by a Rutland Road family to care for two children as a nanny. As part of her job, she had complete access to the inside of the house, Ackermann said.

Zughbi was accused of stealing $2,000 worth of electronics from the home, Ackermann said. She was arrested on Saturday.
