New Korean Brunch Cafe Jazzing Up Glen Rock

GLEN ROCK, NJ — An all-day brunch restaurant inspired by Korean ingredients, flavors and traditions recently opened in Glen Rock.

"If you are hungry, we are open," the cafe, Honey Day Coffee and Kitchen, said in an Instagram post.

Serving toasts and sandwiches, salads and main entrees that include omelettes, pancakes and the "house favorite" K-chicken and waffles, this new establishment at 228 Rock Road opened in late December to a wave of interest and excitement.

"We can't wait to devour the menu when we visit," one Instagram user commented on a post of the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"Definitely plan to visit with the fam as soon as we can," another user commented.

Honey Day Cafe said the grand opening was a success and thanked everyone who stopped by.

Owners noted that Honey Day was started with the "pride of being Korean American," and that they are honored to share this dream with the community.

"Come to Glen Rock for a delicious experience," said the restaurant, whose Yelp page shows, as of Monday, a rating of five stars with 16 reviews.
