New Tenants Revealed At American Dream Mall

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Several more of the retail shops that plan to open at American Dream this spring have been revealed.

In an announcement for a Feb. 17 hiring event to fill positions at the Meadowlands megamall, American Dream listed over 40 stores seeking to fill full-time, part-time and temporary positions.

Several of the incoming tenants on that list were not announced during previous job fairs held at the mall.

American Dream, the massive $5 billion shopping and entertainment venue in the Meadowlands, opened in October 2019.

For now, Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park, IT'SUGAR candy store, Big SNOW indoor ski park and an NHL-size ice rink are open to the public.

DreamWorks Water Park, an indoor water park that will include the world's largest indoor water coaster, a free fall slide with a 70-foot drop, a lazy river and a 1.5-acre wave pool was supposed to open Nov. 27, but the mall recently announced it would be delayed until further notice.

Other attractions, shopping and dining will follow over the next several months.

Retailers previously announced include: Foot Locker, DSW, Lululemon, Vans, Skechers, H&M, Uniqlo, Primark, Levi’s, Aritzia, Banana Republic, Pacsun, Columbia Sportswear, Century 21 and Gap.

Luxury retailers include Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York, Watches of Switzerland, Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Zara, and Tiffany & Co.

American Dream's more than 100 dining destinations – which include three food halls, a food court and nearly two dozen full-serve restaurants – will also open this spring, the mall has said.

Additionally, SEA LIFE Aquarium, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, CMX Luxury Movie Theater, Kidzania and the mall's Observation Wheel will be open by March.
