BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Brothers Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas have sold 20 million albums, been nominated for two Grammies, and paved a path with their blend of rock and funk. And New Jersey can claim them; they grew up in Wyckoff and Little Falls, N.J.

Now a rail line is being nicknamed after them.

Since they'll be performing at MetLife in Bergen County this Sunday, NJ Transit has named the Meadowlands rail line — which takes passengers through North Jersey to MetLife during concerts — the "Jonas Brothers Hometown Express."

"Fans attending the Jonas Brothers concert can get there safely and conveniently using NJ Transit," the rail agency said in a release. "The Jonas Brothers Hometown Express operates train service between Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium. The rail line recently transported more than 150,000 soccer fans to and from the stadium for the FIFA Club World Cup. Jonas Brothers new album 'Greetings From Your Hometown' comes out this Friday!"

The Secaucus Junction Train Station is a hub for trains running throughout the Northeast, including Amtrak and NJ Transit trains. So passengers may change in the station to get to MetLife.

There is no direct train service from Penn Station New York to MetLife Stadium. At Penn station, the departure boards will display SEC for trains that stop in Secaucus.

Rail schedules between Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium are available on njtransit.com/JonasBrothers.

Note: Customers traveling on NJ TRANSIT trains to MetLife Stadium should purchase their round-trip tickets from their originating station To Meadowlands Station (not the Jonas Express) to avoid delays boarding trains. Tickets purchased on the train will include a $5 surcharge for each ticket, the agency said.

What About Getting Back Home?

You may never want to leave. But when you do, NJ Transit advises:

"During peak periods following the event, trains will operate at least every 15 minutes on a load-and-go basis until the crowds dissipate, and then as needed. Please check your connection times at Secaucus to allow ample time to connect to the last train of the evening to your final destination. Customers heading back to Secaucus should purchase tickets in advance to speed boarding and avoid $5 surcharge for each ticket."

There will be limited direct service on select trains from Meadowlands Station to Hoboken. (Hoboken station, on the Hudson River, allows passengers to change to buses, trains, and ferries). At other times, customers must transfer in Secaucus.

The agency added, "The closer you are to the front of the line following an event, the shorter the wait time is for a train to Secaucus. The number of customers traveling by rail and where you are on line will determine your wait time to board trains from MetLife Stadium to Secaucus. In advance of events, customers are strongly advised to check the departure times of final train connections from Secaucus."
