Scottie Scheffler, a Ridgewood native, grabbed a gold medal in golfing recently.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Scottie Scheffler, a Ridgewood native, grabbed a gold medal in golfing recently.
Scheffler, 28, was born in Ridgewood. His family moved to Dallas, Texas, when he was six, say biographies.
He was one of at least three Bergen County natives in the Olympic Games this year.

Scheffler grabbed the gold in the men's individual golf tournament at the games in Paris, France.
Golf Magazine referred to Scheffler's win as a "comeback for the ages."
