Painter Hospitalized After Falling From Roof In Ridgewood: Police
A man was hospitalized after falling from a roof during a painting job at a private home in Ridgewood, police said.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A painting contractor was hospitalized with severe injuries after falling from a roof in Ridgewood on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., the Ridgewood Police responded to 152 Kenilworth Road on a report of a man who fell from the roof, said Captain Glenn Ender.


He fell approximately two stories and was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Patterson with severe injuries, Ender said.

A witness said that the contractor worked for a North Jersey-based company, and that representatives from OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, also came to the scene.
