Stage Fright, nominated in 2010 for Best Original Musical by the New Jersey Association of Community Theatres, is a charming comedy about a naive group of trick-or-treaters that come upon the house of a witch and her gang of monsters on Halloween night.
After being kidnapped by the wicked woman and her evil cronies - the Vampire, Medusa, Mummy, Headless Horseman, Werewolf, Igor, Frankenstein and some landscaping zombies - the teens attempt to win over the monsters in the hopes of saving themselves and their friends from a twisted fate!
Porch Light’s production of Stage Fright is directed by Ryan Pifher, of Ridgewood, and stars members of Porch Light's Youth Performance Troupe, an ensemble of middle and high school performers from Glen Rock, Ridgewood, Fair Lawn and the surrounding communities.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. General admission. Advanced ticket purchase recommended. The show is appropriate for all audiences. For tickets, visit www.porchlightproductions.org, call (201) 857-3520 or stop by the theatre at 555 Broad Street, Glen Rock NJ.
