Powerball Ticket Sold In Bergen County Nets $1 Million For Winner

Are you the winner of the $1 million Powerball lottery? A ticket bought in Bergen County paid off.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – Someone who bought a winning lottery ticket in Bergen County is a million dollars richer today after winning the Powerball on Wednesday.

The lucky buyer matched all five white balls drawn Wednesday night, missing only the Power Ball, to capture a $1 million prize.

The million-dollar win was just one of two in the U.S. in the multi-state game, said the NJ Lottery in a release.

An Ohio player secured the other prize.

No player won the jackpot, which is an estimated $482 million heading into Saturday’s drawing, officials said.

Meanwhile, a Sussex County player matched four white balls and the Power Ball to win $50,000.

The winner numbers were 15, 27, 43, 45 and 53. The Power Ball was 09 and the multiplier was 02.

Also, the Double Play drawing’s numbers were 09, 19, 21, 33 and 46. The Double Play is a separate drawing for players who opted in for the Double Play feature on their tickets. The top prize is $10 million. Ten New Jersey players won $500 prizes.

Wednesday’s $1 million dollar ticket was drawn at Quick Chek #143, 720 Washington Ave. in the borough of Carlstadt.

The $50,000 ticket was drawn at Quick Chek #68, 1 Hampton House Road, in the Sussex County town of Newton.

The $1 million Powerball prize is New Jersey’s third of 2025. The $482 million jackpot is the second highest of the year. In 2025, four Powerball jackpots have been won, all in other states.
