Wyckoff And Midland Park Officials Cut Ribbon For Woman-Owned Landscaping Firm
Dignitaries from Wyckoff and Midland Park came out to the ribbon-cutting for a new women-owned and managed landscaping business.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — After an entrepreneur bought an established landscaping firm in Bergen County, she held a ribbon cutting and reopening earlier this year.
Blythe Yost, a local landscape architect and experienced business owner, purchased the established firm R&S Landscaping in spring and says she's "retooling it to become an industry leader in Bergen County."
Learning on her background in aesthetics and space planning, Yost is involved in landscaping and ongoing maintenance.

The ribbon for Rockfield Landscape. was cut by Mayor Harry Shortway of Midland Park and the event was attended by Mayor Peter Melchionne of Wyckoff and Former Mayor Tom Madigan also of Wyckoff.
Local Midland park restaurant Eleven Central provided food, and a number of local business owners turned out in support.

Yost has recognition from both Forbes as a top 1000 Entrepreneur and Veranda as a Landscape Architect to Watch.
She said, "My General Manager is also a woman, and together we are taking a totally different approach to the industry focusing of customers and quality services first."
