Ridgewood Chamber Gears Up for Golf Classic

As the days of warm weather grow numbered, the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce is inviting golfers to hit the links in its annual charity outing.

The Golf and Tennis Classic will be hosted at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, a course that has hosted several national tournaments in past years, including the US Senior Open and Senior PGA Championship. It has twice hosted the Barclays and is slated to do so again next August.

The chamber has a day of tennis and golf slated for Thursday, Sept. 26, with prizes offered to keep participants on their game. The top prize, for a hole-in-one, is a brand new E Class Mercedes from Paramus-based Prestige Motors.

Registration will get you a full day of golf as well as lunch and dinner. The proceeds help support the chamber’s high school scholarship opportunities.
