A summer snapshot from a Ridgewood family was among a small handful selected as winners of the Fresh Air Fund’s 2013 summer photo contest.
The Lodish and Peabody Family’s pic won the prize for “Barefoot in the Grass,” one of a few categories for which the nonprofit called on submissions. The photo shows nine-year-old Fresh Air Fund visitor Kaelyn enjoying some open space with her host sibling Violet Peabody.
“The girls had a great time together just enjoying the ‘typical’ rites of summer like swimming, biking, walking the dog, eating ice cream and going to camp,” said host mom Stephanie Lodish.
