Ridgewood Girls Lax Taking on Chatham

Perenially-ranked Ridgewood girls lacrosse will be taking on rival Chatham Friday afternoon, a game residents can check out on MSG Varsity.

The village girls team, which lost star Kelci Smesko to graduation, has had a tough go early in the season. At 3-2, the team has dropped close games to Summit and West Essex but also defeated competitive squads Oak Knoll and Westfield.

Chatham also stands at 3-2, having lost to Oak Knoll and New York squad Manhasset. Chatham did defeated West Essex and Glen Ridge.

The game begins at 4 p.m. at Ridgewood High School. The game will be streamed live at www.msgvarsity.com/liveaccess and broadcast on April 17 at 4 p.m.
