Ridgewood Schools Holding Workshop on Student Stress

Dr. Debra Fagan will present a program on stress levels for elementary school students on Oct. 2 at B.F. Middle School.

As part of the district's Curriculum Outreach series, on Tuesday, Oct. 2, psychologist Dr. Debra Fagan will present a program to parents and guardians of elementary school students on the topic of K-5 Emotional Well-Being. 

The talk will take place at Benjamin Franklin Middle School Auditorium from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and continue with questions and answers from 8:30 to 9 p.m. The public is invited.

  • What amount of stress is "normal"?        
  • When is stress "over the top"?         
  • What are some initial steps parents can take to help a student when stress seems overwhelming?
