Ridgewood Public Schools are looking to find a leader to steer its technology integration further into the 21st century. According to a report on northjersey.com, the school board is <a href="http://www.northjersey.com/news/206635651_Technology_director_sought_for_Ridgewood_schools.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">looking to draw from its $500,000 in breakage funds</a> to hire a tech director.  The position – which once had been funded but fell off due to budget constraints in recent years – has been one trustee Jim Morgan has rallied to fill in recent years. Angelo DeSimone, the business administrator, doubles as the district's technology lead. He's retiring at the end of the school year.  Schools in Ridgewood have slowly been integrating "Bring Your Own Device" to the classrooms, though no strict curriculum policy supports the effort. Advertising for the position has already begun.
