Streets To Close During Friday Rush Hour For Free Ridgewood Car Show

Ridgewood's annual car show will include live music, food, rides, and family fun. It will also close several streets starting at 3:30 p.m.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood's 32nd annual car show will treat visitors to classic cars and live music — and will also close streets.

The show will take place along Ridgewood Avenue from 6-9 p.m.

School of Rock said that they will perform a "high-energy live rock performance the entire family can enjoy" at 131 East Ridgewood Ave. from 6-9 p.m.

Organizers say the show will feature classic and modern vehicles, as well as "car categories, trophies, vendors, and food options."

The Chamber of Commerce said, "Family fun and awesome rides! Cruise by and join the fun."

The police noted that these streets will be closed in the central business district on Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.:

  • East Ridgewood Ave. will be closed from Chestnut Street down to Maple Avenue.
  • Chestnut Street will be open from Franklin Ave - Prospect St.
  • Oak Street will be open up to E. Ridgewood Ave.
  • Van Neste will be closed on both sides
  • Van Neste bus stop *parking lot will be closed at 4pm 9/5/25
  • Dayton will be closed from Walnut to Prospect.
  • South Walnut will be closed
  • North Walnut will be open only for cars to enter the show
  • Cottage Place will be opened up to E. Ridgewood •

Police also said that the parking lots between the old Gap and Bookends and the parking lot behind Town & Country Pharmacy will be closed starting at 4 p.m.
