River Edge Man Charged With Distributing Child Sex Abuse Images: Prosecutor

A River Edge man, 22, was charged with distributing child sex abuse images, prosecutors said Friday.

RIVER EDGE, NJ — A River Edge man, 22, was charged with distribution and possession of child pornography, prosecutors said Friday.

Andrew C. Baker, 22, was charged Friday with second-degree child pornography and third-degree possession. of child pornography, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Baker's residence "during the course of an internet child sexual abuse material investigation," prosecutors said. "The investigation revealed that Baker used the internet to view, download, possess, distribute, and share items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children."

He was arrested in Paramus and taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
