'Say Hello' To Newly Opened Barbershop Named After Tony Montana In Ridgewood

Montana Barbershop, named after the fictional character, recently opened on East Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Named after famous movie character Tony Montana, a Cuban immigrant who steadily made a name for himself in the drug underworld, Montana Barbershop is now officially open on East Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood.

Montana Barbershop prides itself on quality haircuts from experienced hairstylists, and on making sure "the cut you want is the cut you get."

The barbershop offers an array of services, including eyebrow threading, according to Mayor Susan Knudsen, who recently cut the ribbon on the new business.

"As we all know, proper brow maintenance is essential to a youthful appearance," Knudsen said at the grand opening ceremony. "So, let's give them a Ridgewood warm welcome. And remember to support our Central Business District and local businesses."

She added that the interior of the barbershop is "magnificent," and that interested residents should come down to sit, chat and learn more about the services offered.
