'Saylestock 2013' Festival Coming to Ridgewood April 28
Arts and music festival to benefit Matthew Sayles Foundation, named for a Ridgewood man who died at age 26 after being diagnosed with a rare cancer.

An arts and musical festival to honor the life of a Ridgewood native who died from a rare cancer in Nov. 2011 will be held on April 28 in Van Neste Square.
Matthew Sayles was just 26 when he succumbed to salivary duct cancer. Sayles was a 2003 graduate of Ridgewood High School who worked as a math teacher at Midland Park High School. He was also an avid traveler, photographer, mathematician and sports fan whose his greatest love was live music and Lake George.
The Sayles family has organized what they're calling "Saylestock 2013" to be held on April 28 at Memorial Park at Van Neste Square in Ridgewood between 12-7 p.m.
