Scammer Tried Taking $100K Out Of Glen Rock Resident's Bank: Cops

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A Glen Rock resident told police that someone tried to transfer more than $100,000 out of their bank account, and into an account in another bank, police said.

The person contacted police around 12:45 p.m. on Dec. 5 to say that when they found out about the transfer, they were able to contact the bank to stop it from going through.

The Detective Bureau will conduct a follow-up investigation to try to identify the suspect, they said.
