'Secret Millionaire' Producer Seeks Philanthropic Families For New Documentary Series
TV series seeks to breakdown cultural and economic stereotypes.

Want to make a difference in the life of one economically challenged family, while simultaneously highlighting the issues surrounding child poverty in the United States?
The producers of ABC’s Secret Millionaire are looking for philanthropic families for a new documentary series titled, ‘How The Other Half Live, modeled after the British show of the same name.
The documentary will feature two families in the Tristate area who are living at opposite ends of the economic spectrum, and explore how they can benefit each others lives through help, support and getting to know each other.
"We are looking for successful families with a passion for philanthropy to sponsor economically challenged families on each episode," producer Julia Jenkins told Patch.
Each episode focuses on two families, from different backgrounds, observing their lifestyles as seen through the eyes of their children.
"Our aim is to present a fair and balanced view of each family’s experience, in the hope of breaking down cultural and economic stereotypes," Jenkins said. "This is a wonderful new documentary series with a positive message and exposure for the families featured."
