RIDGEWOOD, NJ — From a early age, Justine Boone knew that she wanted to create for a living, and she now prides herself on providing a one-of-a-kind experience to those who take a bite out of her freshly baked cookies, she said on her website.

Boone is scaling her business Treat Me Sweet Cookies, which has a store open in Fair Lawn and ships across the U.S., to reach more customers by opening another shop Oct. 29 in Ridgewood at 26 Chestnut Street, according to a Facebook post.

"It’s finally happening," the company said on its Facebook page. "Thank you everyone for all the encouragement and love, and I’m excited to serve at a higher capacity and take in the newest adventures to come."

She is holding a grand-opening celebration, open-house style, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 29.

"I hope the entire town and area can celebrate with me," she said in a statement.

Her love affair with cookie baking and decorating started after she found cake design classes she took when she moved to New Jersey, and she hasn't looked back, she said on her website.

"My goal is to not only create outstanding cookies to look at but amazing cookies to eat," she added. "I find the whole package deal to be incredibly important."

Marketed as a high-end specialty cookie boutique, Treat Me Sweet Cookies individually wraps and seals each cookie to protect freshness and maintain safety, the company said. Boone added that she is known for her unique cookie creations, yet she also fills corporate orders.

"You wont find cookies like mine anywhere else," she said.
