Stop & Shop Unveils Newly Remodeled Store In Ridgewood

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Now featuring a new look, and an expanded assortments and departments, the supermarket chain Stop & Shop has just unveiled its newly remodeled store at 175 Franklin Avenue in Ridgewood.

To celebrate the brighter new look at the updated space, the store held a ribbon-cutting event, which was attended by Mayor Susan Knudsen, on Friday.

Highlights of the remodel, the store said, include expanded produce, frozen, dairy and grocery departments; an upgraded bakery and deli department, and front-end with a new dual-lane register. Other features include expanded international offerings, such as Polish, Middle Eastern, Asian and Baltic products, and an updated pharmacy with a new immunization room and a patient-direct communications system for prescription retrieval.

“We’re excited to share our newly remodeled store with our local shoppers,” Manager Chris Tahmoosh said. “We’ve added more of what our customers want and upgrades they need to get their shopping done faster and get back to what matters most.”
