As in past years, the Ridgewood Public Schools will again be conducting a parent / guardian satisfaction survey this May. Starting May 13, Ridgewood parents and guardians will have an opportunity to provide input to district officials on their children’s schools and education.
This year’s survey is comprehensive in scope, asking parents and guardians for their opinions in a variety of areas ranging from the quality of their children’s education to the cleanliness of the buildings.

As in past years, the 2013 survey will also include a special section on an area of particular interest to the Ridgewood Board of Education. This year the Board would like to ascertain whether there is an interest in district-provided parenting workshops covering students’ educational, behavioral and social/emotional wellbeing.
The annual parent/guardian survey period will run from Monday, May 13 through Friday, May 24. Parents and guardians will receive links to the surveys via e-mail. They will receive one survey link for each school their children attend, with instructions to complete that survey for their youngest child at that school.

The surveys are set up to be completely anonymous and cannot be tracked back to responders. The collected data will be shared with the community and will be used by the Board of Education as part of its evaluation of district policies and practices.
