Police are looking for information on a group of teens who supposedly shot at other teens with an Airsoft gun in Glen Rock.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — A teen reported last week that a group of teens shot at him with an Airsoft gun near Glen Rock High School, police said.

One of the younger teens drew an Airsoft pellet gun from their waistband and began shooting pellets at the boy and his friend, police say. The pair ran off.
The victim said he didn't know who the younger teens were, but only described them as "riding e-bikes and wearing full helmets," police said.

Police said they found out about what happened when the teen spoke with his parents.
Airsoft guns are meant to mimic real guns and are used for training, according to sales sites. Doctors have warned that while the guns don't shoot real bullets, they can cause eye damage, welts, and other injuries.
Police did not find anyone present around Glen Rock High School when they checked they said, but will look at surveilance from near the school.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident and can provide further information is asked to contact the Detective Bureau at (201) 670-3947 or (201) 670-3948, police said.
