Oh Baby, Baby: The Couture Baby Plans Saturday Grand Opening

After making the transition from an online retail biz to a bricks and mortar operation, Marissa Rizkalla is ready to open the doors at what she hopes will become a baby clothing mecca in Ridgewood, The Couture Baby.

On Saturday, Oct. 6, Rizkalla will be celebrating the grand opening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the store, located at 82 East Ridgewood Avenue.

"We'll be giving out goodies for parents as well as children and holding a raffle to win three gift certificates during the month of October," Rizkalla told Patch.

Her store will carry custom-made clothing, headbands and accessories, christening outfits, take home sets, special occasion dresses, boys clothing, gifts and personalized items as well. Sizes range from newborns to size 8. Larger sizes can be requested, she said.

"It is very exciting to have a brick and mortar store downtown as I couldn't
imagine our store anywhere else!" she said, excitedly. "It is one of my favorite places to come with and friends for shopping and dining."

Rizkalla has high expectations for the store. She aims to provide "high quality afforadable couture clothing, hard to find designer brands that parents love," she said, adding, "And we pride ourselves in providing friendly customer service!"
