RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A toddler's tricycle was hit by a vehicle in Ridgewood on Friday morning while the child was crossing the street with Dad, police said.

Police said the child was riding the tricycle on Kenwood Road when the back tires were hit and suffered damage. The pair were near a curve in the road, said Chief Forrest Lyons.

The child was unharmed, although the tricycle's back tires suffered damage, Lyons said.

The pair went to Valley Hospital for evaluation only, Lyons said.
