Bergen County officials presented a long list of write-in votes for president, including "God," "God Help Us," and George Washington.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Every presidential election has a slew of voters who are unhappy with the choices. Some use the old "Hold my nose and vote" technique, while others let their sense of humor fly.

In Bergen County, as of Monday, Kamala Harris had received the most votes for president, at 160,146, while Donald Trump received 138,463.

Third-party candidates also amassed some votes countyside, including Jill Stein, 3,185, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 1,248, and Chase Oliver, 720.

The Bergen County Clerk's Office has released a list of everyone written in for president so far.

The list includes scholars, politicians, members of the media, fictional characters, and a few people who probably voted for themselves.

At least 14 people wrote in Professor and author Cornel West, who launched a campaign in spring.

A dozen people wrote in former Gov. Chris Christie, who had also announced a run.

Past candidate Mitt Romney drew 33 votes, and Bernie Sanders got 18.

Other politicians who grabbed a handful were Ron DeSantis, Liz Cheney, Josh Gottheimer, Hillary Clinton, Ronald Reagan, Harold Ford Jr., and the newly minted centenarian Jimmy Carter.

In the entertainment industry, picks included Taylor Swift, Kanye West, and John Ritter.

Some people preferred fictional characters, including Big Bird, Mickey Mouse, and of course, Tony Soprano.

Other write-ins included Josh Shapiro, Ben Shapiro, and several for Jesus.

Jesus was also a popular write-in choice for Senate, as seen below.
