Women Nabbed For Shoplifting More Than $900 In Cosmetics From Bergen County Store: Police

2 women were arrested for shoplifting more than $900 in cosmetics from a Bergen County drug store, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Two women were arrested last week for shoplifting $925 in cosmetics from a CVS store in Bergen County, police said.

Police began investigating after they got a report on Sept. 2 that the items were stolen from the Glen Rock CVS in the Rock Road Central Business District.

  • Joanna Norigalembardi, 26, of Passaic
  • Katherine S. Leontenorio, 32, of Paterson

Both were charged with one count each of shoplifting, police said.

Norigalembardi was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at the Superior Court in Hackensack.

Leontenorio was released on her own recognizance to await an appearance as well, police said.

Detective Lucas Doney and officers Nick Onove and Kelvin Preciado assisted with the investigation, police said.
