Valley Hospital, Health Departments Offer Free Kids' Vaccinations
Valley Hospital has partnered with health departments in Ridgewood, Fair Lawn and Glen Rock to offer free vaccinations to children.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ - Valley Hospital has partnered with health departments in Ridgewood, Fair Lawn and Glen Rock to offer free vaccinations to children in those communities whose parents cannot afford the shots.
The entities have teamed up to bring the Vaccine for Children Program to the three towns, which is a federally funded effort that ensures all children are vaccinated, according to an announcement by the hospital.
“This is an invaluable service for parents who would not have been able to vaccinate their children without this program,” said Diane Sabbagh, a community health nurse at Valley Hospital. “Some have used our services while they are in transition between health insurance providers and want their children to stay on their vaccination schedule.”
