Close your eyes, Tiger Moms, you may not want to see this. In response to with activities, sports, school work and studying, Ridgewood High School last year became one of the first schools in the nation to pilot a policy of not giving homework out over winter break.
The – and welcomed filmmaker Vicky Abeles – and has been included in a recent video documenting the progress of the "End The Race Homework Pledge" at RHS.
Jack Lorenz, teacher Barbara Baker, several parents and students say on the video the pledge has helped with students' well-being.
