$3M Scratch-Off Jackpot Won At Hudson County Store
A lottery player won $3M with a scratch-off ticket bought in Hudson County, the NJ Lottery said.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A lottery player won the $3 million top prize after scratching off a winning ticket, the NJ Lottery said Friday.
The ticket, bought in Jersey City, gives the winner a choice between receiving $10,000 per month for 25 years or a lump-sum cash payment of $1,769,800.
The ticket was bought at 502 Grocery and Deli on Ocean Avenue, said spokesman Michael Boone.

Although the store reported the winning ticket on New Year’s Day, Boone said it may have been purchased earlier.
The winner has not yet claimed the prize or decided how to receive it, Boone added.
