Village Council OKs Use of Phone App to Pay for Parking

To use the app, users will be asked to input license plate numbers and information from Parkmobile stickers, which will be placed on meters.

The Village Council approved an amendment that will allow residents to pay for parking on their smartphones.

Although officials are still negotiating with Parkmobile, residents may be able to use the mobile app as soon as May, NorthJersey.com reported.

To use the app, users will be asked to input license plate numbers and information from Parkmobile stickers, which will be placed on each meter.
