Wednesday: Cats, Hats and Government Meetings

1) The Ridgewood Village Council will be getting together, hanging out, talking about car washes, , a cell phone tower (!), and everyone's favorite–Ridgewood Water. Stop by and bring some popcorn to Village Hall at 7:30 p.m.

2) If anyone's an early riser, the Fields Committee will be meeting to discuss the fields use policy at 7 a.m. at the on Cottage Place. No policy has been agreed upon, as the school board said it just wasn't ready to say 'yay' or 'nay' on Monday, despite a number of weeks to review the issue. The spring season is bearing down on the village–it begins Friday.

3) DJ Bryan Sean will be spinnin' at on Wednesday nights. You can enjoy the atmosphere with $3 drink specials.

4) Celebrate reading at the library for the . Some local readers and the RHS New Players will read up on the classic Seuss books. Yes, there will be cake as well! The event is at 4:00 p.m.

5) Bulk refuse and battery, tires and metals pickup will be on The East Side on Tuesday.
