Monday

The Ridgewood school board meets at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda is the approval of a new salary guide for district staff, as well as the bi-annual presentation on in school.

The Duke University "Out of Blue" female a capella group will perform at Ridgewood High School's Little Theater at 7 p.m.

Tuesday

The Ridgewood Planning board meets to discuss downtown housing plans at 7:30 p.m.

District officials will be gathering at Willard Elementary School for the ribbon cutting at 7 p.m.

The Glen Rock Environmental Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall.

Wednesday

Richard Muti, the true crime author of Bergen County's notorious "Charmer", will be at the Glen Rock Public Library at 7 p.m.

Uggie, a Jack Russell Terrier who played in Oscar-winning "The Artist," will be at Bookends at 7 p.m.

Glen Rock Police Department Detective James Calaski will be addressing the public for a forum on scam and fraud prevention. He'll be at Borough Hall starting at 7 p.m.

Ridgewood district officials will be offering a presentation to the school board on the schools' "measures of academic success" at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Education Center.

Thursday

Co-founder of 80s band Duran Duran, John Taylor, will be at Bookends at 6 p.m.

Friday

A kick off party for the new non-profit pro-parks group "The Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands" (CRPL) will be held at brand new Habernickel Park beginning at 5 p.m. On Sunday, the village will hold its own opening reception of Habernickel.

Correction: The CRPL party – not fundraiser – is at 5 p.m.
