Monday

*The Glen Rock boys lacrosse team take on Northern Highlands in a home game at 4:30 p.m.

*Ridgewood residents take to the polls to vote on school board candidates and the $91 million school budget.

*The Ridgewood Planning board meets at George Washington Middle School's gymnasium for the continuing Valley Hospital hearings. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.

*The Glen Rock Environmental Commission meets at Borough Hall at 7:30 p.m.

*Kat Von D, star of LA Ink, will be at Bookends at 6 p.m. signing copies of her new book, Go Big or Go Home.

Wednesday

*Country music star Billy Ray Cyrus will be at Bookends at 6 p.m. signing copies of his new book, Hillbilly Heart.

*The third-annual Ridgewood Film Festival starts up Wednesday night. More than 40 films will be shown over the two-day festival. The red carpet will be rolled out at 6 p.m.

Thursday

*The Glen Rock Public Schools will host a community forum Community Forum in GR

*Ridgewood Film Festival's continues on Thursday. Films light up the Clearview Warner theater screens at 7 p.m.

*Real Housewives cast members Joe Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita and Chris Laurita are due at Ridgewood Municipal Court for proceedings on charges they assaulted and threatened a man.

Friday

*Ridgewood 7th and 8th graders will be dancing the night away at Village Hall for a spring mixer. The dance goes from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. An $8 "donation" is required for entrance.

Saturday

*The Ridgewood Softball/Baseball Association (RBSA) will have its annual parade starting at the train station at 9 a.m.

*Ridgewood High School teacher Louisa Luisi will be at Bookends signing copies of her book, My Best Coaches at 9:30 a.m. Mr. Met will join her. Kids can take photos with Mr. Met until 10 a.m.

*Ridgewood's Earth Day event starts up at 10 a.m. and goes 'til 2 p.m. Learn more about the day here.

Sunday

*The Family Promise Hike or Bike for homeless families starts up at 1 p.m. at Van Neste Square.
