Westwood Man Sexually Assaulted Minor Last Weekend, Prosecutor Says
A Westwood man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct for an incident that took place last weekend, prosecutors said.
WESTWOOD, NJ — A Westwood man has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact for a crime that took place last Saturday, prosecutors said.
Sylvester R. Jackson, 65, of Westwood was arrested in that town and charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office on Friday.
Prosecutors said that on Tuesday, the Westwood Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile under the age of 16 that had occurred in Westwood.

An investigation determined that Jackson "sexually assaulted a juvenile under the age of sixteen in the Borough of Westwood" last Saturday, prosecutors said.
Jackson was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
