BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two New Jersey residents have died this month due to lightning strikes at outdoor sporting events, eliciting reminders from forecasters to be weather aware.
According to the National Weather Service, the greatest chance for thunderstorms in Bergen County in the next five days will be this Saturday evening and Sunday. The beginning of the workweek is expected to be sunny, but there's a 30 percent chance of rain Wednesday and Thursday.
