Tree Topples Onto House In Glen Rock, Rendering It 'Unsafe': Photos
Amid Sunday's high winds, a Bergen County house was declared unsafe after a tree fell on it, police said. See photos.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — A Glen Rock home was declared temporarily unsafe on Sunday night when a tree toppled onto the roof amid high winds.
The Glen Rock police said Monday that their patrols, along with firefighters, headed to the 300 block of Dunham Place just after 5 p.m. on a report of a home struck by a tree.
The tree had fallen onto the roof and there were no injuries, police said. The occupants were able to safely exit the home.

A vehicle parked in the driveway was also damaged, police said.
A Building Department official determined the structure to be unsafe to reside in.

The homeowner contacted a local tree service and made arrangements to stay with a family member, police said.
