Anahid Froonjian-Fritsche of River Edge, 90, died February 9, 2012.
Anne grew up in Weehawken, and graduated from NYU with a registered dietician degree. Throughout her lifetime, she worked at NY Hospital, Hackensack Hospital. She was the first director of nutrition at River Dell Regional Schools. She was the dietary supervisor at Dunroven, Pine Rest and Valley Nursing Homes, where she retired in 1992.
During her first husband’s illness, she worked as a substitute teacher for River Edge BOE, so she could be with him when needed. She belonged to the River Edge Women’s Club and did volunteer work at Valley Hospital.

She enjoyed bus trips with the seniors, spending time in Chatham, MA, Belmar and spending time with friends in LBI. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, the symphony, cooking, reading, traveling and most of all loved seeing her grandchildren and sharing in the joys of their 'firsts.' Anne was a devoted and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, friend, and lived a long and full life.
Predeceased by husbands Harry Froonjian and Richard Fritsche. Survived by Dr. H. Craig and Renee Froonjian of Oradell, Carol and Don Imbriaco of Shark River Hills. Grandmother to Scott and Jackie Imbriaco of Shark River Hills, Michael and Lauren Imbriaco of Neptune City, Matthew, Samantha and Maxwell Froonjian, and greatgrandmother to Mason Imbriaco.

Donations may be made to Armenian Presbyterian Church or Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Emerson, NJ.
