Old Hook Medical Associates Donation Campaign to Benefit Helping Hand Food Pantry

Old Hook Medical Associates (OHM), a multi-specialty medical practice located in Emerson, has deep roots in Bergen County and cares about the communities where staff and patients live.

At the suggestion of one of the practice’s administrators, OHM will donate $1 for every new Facebook “Like” (up to $350) during the month of March 2012 to the Helping Hand Food Pantry in Hillsdale.

“Issues that are important to our patients are important to us”, said Dr. Edward Gold, VP and Chief Medical Officer of Old Hook Medical Associates. “We’re part of this community and we heard from our staff that this is a very worthwhile organization that is doing a great job.”

Old Hook Medical Associates operates as a Patient-Centered Medical Home where more than 20 primary care, specialty physicians, nurse practitioners and other medical professionals work together under one roof.

OHM is recognized by the National Council on Quality Assurance for adhering to the highest standards for a PCMH. Coupled with a cutting-edge system of Electronic Health Records, OHM delivers outstanding medical care to residents of Bergen and Rockland counties.

The Helping Hand Food Pantry is located at the United Methodist Church, 349 Hillsdale Avenue and is open on Mondays, 5:30pm to 7pm and the first Saturday of the month from 9am to 11am serving residents in need. Donations are made to the Food Pantry on the 4th Sunday of the month at the Worship Service.
