John Joseph Dabrowski, a longtime resident of Oradell, died Thursday, November 17, 2011.
John is a member of the Don Bosco Hall of Fame and was one of the original Ironmen, a name given to the basketball team after accomplishing the feat of winning two state basketball championships in one day. He continued that commitment to teamwork as a little league coach.
He was the long time editor of the Times Review where he met his loving wife Barbara Ann. While working with J. Walter Thompson of New York, Mr. Dabrowski served as the editor of Ford Truck Times Magazine and later was Corporate Public Relations Manager for Volvo America. He was also a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Oradell, where he taught CCD and served as lector.

Beloved husband of Barbara Ann (nee Corbett). Devoted father of Dr. Andrew Dabrowski of Bloomington, IN, and Ann Mendel and her husband John of Australia, and loving grandfather to Hannah, Sammy, and Jonah. He is also survived by son Dr. Peter Dabrowski, and several nieces and nephews.
